April began her real estate journey in 2004 as a Georgia licensed agent after relocating to the metroAtlanta area from Alabama. After spending 9 years as a human resource professional, she soon found a new passion in education as a special education teacher and decided to pursue that career path. After
18 years as a teacher, the real estate bug never quite let her go and she began to explore options for returning to real estate.
Sales wasn’t really her jam so after doing some research, April decided that becoming a Transaction Coordinator would allow her to combine her strong administrative, organizational, relationship building, and interpersonal skills with her desire to support real estate agents, buyers, and sellers in getting to the closing table seamlessly.
April is a co-parenting mom of 2 beautiful daughters. She is a dedicated and loyal Alabama Crimson Tide fan! In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching SEC football, attending HBCU football games/events, spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and serving her community through the Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
